This vertical flue kit with a vertical connector is required when installing a flue run through a flat or pitched roof.

Designed to go vertically, it is best installed outside of the property once the flue pipes have been fed outside, or through a flat or pitched roof.

The design is quick and easy to install, with a simple push-fit connection, and the anti-corrosive material means the system will last the life of the boiler.

A vertical connector is also included, which allows for extra flexibility when setting up an effective flue system, allowing you to use multiple flue sizes.

The KA Tanking Slurry waterproofing system provides a solution to water leakage, ingress or seepage in concrete structures or any cementitious substrate. 

The formation and development of insoluble crystals into water-bearing capillaries and fissures effectively block the further.

The KA system is designed to function against water penetration in various conditions. KA Tanking Slurry is supplied as a powder and, when mixed with water, is applied directly to concrete, blockwork masonry, or cement renders in areas where general waterproofing is required. KA Tanking Slurry is used in conjunction with KA Super Plug for instant leak plugging.

KA tanking Slurry can be applied to new or old structurally sound surfaces. It can be applied either to the negative or the positive side and will negate dampness in groundwater permeation even under hydrostatic pressure.

How it works

On-site KA tanking slurry is mixed with water to form a smooth paste. The paste is applied directly to concrete or masonry structures and penetrates a short distance into capillary cracks, fissures and pores on the surface of the concrete. The presence of water and free lime causes the tanking slurry to form insoluble crystals, which block the pores and prevent the passage of water. This effectively makes the concrete watertight for the lifetime of the structure.

Where it can be used

KA Tanking Slurry can be applied by brush or spray to new or old structurally sound surfaces, without a bonding coat, either to the internal or the external side. It can be applied to both horizontal and vertical surfaces. Surfaces should be prepared to have an open capillary structure.

The waterproofing barrier should run continuously around the whole structure. The product is for use where the basement is above the water table level. KA Tanking Slurry can be used for the three grades of protection of basements described in S58102:

Grade I for car parking.
Grade 2 for plant rooms, workshops and garages.
Grade 3 for residential and commercial areas.
