Our Balau Newel Posts should be secured to the joists of your Decking. For concrete decks, you should secure them using appropriate anchors for concrete.

Yellow Balau is a very durable Malaysian hardwood. It is a hard, heavy and strong timber that is well suited to deck construction.

Yellow Balau has an interlocking grain and a fine and even texture. Its colour varies between yellowish-brown, brown and pale reddish-brown.

Incorporating a handrail system on your deck could potentially make the area safer if you have young children or pets.
