This component is treated to BS8417.

External grade square decking newel posts can be used with any design of deck rails or spindles, and a beautifully chiselled top finishes them off nicely.

Our Softwood Handrail Components are pressure treated to BS8417 at our very own treatment works, which will maximize the lifespan of the timber by up to 15 years! It also creates an effective barrier to infestation by insects and fungi.

A handrail system on your deck could make the area safer if you have young children or pets.

Our Newel Posts should be secured to the joists of your Decking. For concrete decks, you should secure them using appropriate anchors for concrete.

Pressure-treated to protect the timbers from rot & decay.
