Our Softwood Handrail Components are pressure treated to BS8417 at our very own treatment works, which will maximize the lifespan of the timber by up to 15 years! It also creates an effective barrier to infestation by insects and fungi.

This will also make the deck safer if you have young children or pets.

Please note, this listing is for one individual rail, we recommend stacking two when used as a handrail for a more solid feel and to hide any screws, giving a sleeker and clean look to your balustrade. (image one shows two stacked handrails)

We stock 1.5m, 1.8m, 2.4m & now 3.0m hand/baserails, so you can decide your spacing between the newels! 

The rails are universal, which means they can be used for both the handrail and the baserail. They will also accommodate either 32mm or 42mm spindles.

Please note: With this being a natural product, the timber may react to weather conditions. Please allow for a slight tolerance in the product dimensions.
