This concrete rebar is a standard reinforcing steel rod designed to strengthen and hold the concrete together as a tension device in concrete structures.

Rebar is commonly used in the construction industry within domestic ‘DIY’ and commercial projects of varying sizes. Its primary function is to improve the tensile strength of concrete and to balance load through slabs, columns, beams, and other structural elements. 

While reinforcement bar is not often supplied galvanized or epoxy-coated, hot rolled bars commonly leave the mill with a thin coating of mill-scale (iron oxides), which helps to protect the steel.

Over time this coating will wear away, and surface rust can appear due to weathering. Rust that is caused by freshwater (rainwater) does not, however, affect the strength of the rebar when cast in concrete.

The latex gloves are also incredibly dexterous and feature a breathable back to help prevent sweating in a warm working environment.

In order to select the correct size of glove, simply measure across your palm at the point indicated in the last picture on this listing. Then compare your measurement with the chart below to ensure that you select the correct size of glove for your hand.

Where your measurement falls on the boundary of two sizes, we would recommend selecting the larger of the two sizes for a comfortable fit.

However, if you would specifically like your gloves to be a closer fit, perhaps for work that requires fine movements, select the smaller of the two sizes.
