This manhole cover is able to withstand up to 3.5kn (tonnes) of loading weight. Ideally, lids of this weight range are most suited to pedestrian and landscape projects.

It is designed as part of the underground drainage range, to fit onto a 320mm manhole base riser. Please note, as with all manhole covers, the measurement is of the clear opening, not of the actual lid and frame.

They are a superb product for replacing damaged or poor condition covers and also as an option for new installations.

Unlike some cast iron or galvanised steel manhole covers, these manhole covers are made of super-strong and durable plastic material so they do not suffer from the problems traditional cast iron manufactured products do, for example, rusting around the frame.
