Our Softwood Handrail Components are pressure treated to BS8417 at our very own treatment works, which will maximize the lifespan of the timber by up to 15 years! It also creates an effective barrier to infestation by insects and fungi.

Our Softwood Newels are machined from Swedish Redwood Timber, a quality timber that is easy to work with at an affordable price. Swedish Redwood handrail components have many qualities, including resistance to shrinking and warping, enhanced durability, and also ages well.

All our Softwood Newels have been pressure treated to help protect the timbers against rot & decay.
