When creating the decking surface, we try and find a board to cover the distance without having to create joins. On decks requiring longer boards than 4.8m, we will supply multiple boards to cover the distance, which will require a single join per run.

Please double check you have measured these correctly as we cut these, especially to your requirements - hence we cannot accept returns.

This 3 1/2" x 1 1/2" is a perfect way to start your new Deck. Strong and easy to work with, you won't need a professional! 

Timber is a natural product and is subject to continual movement when exposed to atmospheric conditions. This may be evident with splits, shakes or warping. These are not considered to be a fault or defect. Please allow a small percentage for waste.

The timber is pressure-treated green to BS8417 at our very own treatment works. This will maximize the lifespan of the timber by up to 15 years! It also creates an effective barrier to infestation by insects and fungi.

WalkSure® decking is PEFC certified and has a 15-year guarantee against rot and fungal decay, subject to correct installation and treatment of cut timber.

WalkSure® is rated as 'low potential for slip' tested to BS 7976 part 2

Importantly WalkSure achieves the 'low slip' rating in each of the three test procedures, across, diagonal to and along the board length.

If deck boards are cut, the sawn ends should be re-treated with a suitable timber preservative. Please allow a small percentage for waste.

Supports should be set at a maximum of 450mm centres. A slight fall should be incorporated into the design to help improve drainage.
