Castle Top Hardwood Balau Decking (145mm x 21mm - *Exact Cut*)

This really is the Rolls Royce of decking!

Balau hardwood decking is really suited to a country with a climate like ours as it is so hard-wearing, knot-free and very pleasing to the eye with its different shades of orangey browns.

Balau has anti-slip properties which were originally used for marine decks where water was a problem and also has a natural built in resistance to fungal decay and insect attack.

Balau is a tropical hardwood. This is a very tightly grained wood, hence very hardwearing and very durable.

Spax woodscrews should also be used to fasten it down as they will help to keep any splitting to a minimum.

Oh, and one last thing, please don't let your decking 'die'...... Your about to spend good money on your Hardwood Balau, you really MUST oil it. Using Ronseal Decking Oil will really bring the beautiful colours out of the wood and it won't break the bank!

You can now order a sample and we will endeavor to get it to you overnight.

Always keep you Balau dry and away from moisture until it is time to lay it!

Please also remember, with it been a naturally grown product, all timber including Balau will never be 100% free from defects. Although Balau is typically knot & defect free, a small % waste must always be allowed.

In most cases however, small imperfections are generally considered as a typical feature of the species.
