This is a very tight-grained wood, hence very hard-wearing and durable.This Balau has waxed ends to stop splitting and is also kiln-dried. Don't let anyone tell you this isn't important with Balau. It's critical! Shiplap is tongue and grooved, which helps to provide protection from wind and rain.
